In Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County (LUVN), specifically in Kirkkonummi’s family social services, professionals are using Gosta Labs' AI-assistant to make documentation faster and lighter so meetings can stay truly client focused.
Gosta helps social workers structure and document meetings quickly and consistently, keeping records up to date without pulling attention away from the conversation. The time saved is not just an efficiency gain. It translates into what matters most in family social work: more presence, better listening, and smoother trust building, especially with young people.
Jamila Heroum, a Social counselor in Kirkkonummi’s family social services, describes the change:
“It has freed up a great deal of working time that I can use for other purposes, because I no longer need to spend an hour recording information – 15 minutes is enough."
“I’ve noticed that I can be much more present with the client when I’m not writing on a computer or in a notebook during the meeting. I don’t miss what the client is saying, and especially with young people this has made interaction easier.”
Gosta’s use began as a pilot in May 2025 with two volunteers and has since expanded to the entire team.
