Build AI that doctors actually use

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join Gosta Labs and help us build the core product powering our healthcare AI platform.

Gosta was founded to make advanced AI genuinely useful in clinical work. Our models are trained for real-world clinical use, reducing admin work and surfacing insights when they matter most.

At Gosta Labs, we’re building an AI operating system for healthcare that’s already in daily use by doctors across multiple countries. Our customers include organizations like Terveystalo, Aava, and several wellbeing service counties. Our technology turns real doctor–patient conversations into structured clinical documentation and insights — freeing clinicians to spend less time on paperwork so they can focus on care.

What you’ll build

• - Build and evolve our core product — from backend services to frontend experiences used by clinicians
• - Develop and integrate AI-powered features using LLMs and other ML components in real production workflows
• - Work closely with clinical experts to turn real-world problems into elegant solutions

• - Take ownership: ship, measure, iterate, improve — fast

Your background

• - Strong experience as a full-stack software engineer (backend + frontend)
• - Hands-on experience working with AI/LLM-based systems (or strong curiosity and fast learning ability)

• - Comfort working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• - A builder mindset — you like shipping

Pluses (helpful, not required):

• - Experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or data-sensitive systems
• - Experience scaling production systems used by real customers

Recruitment steps

Our recruitment includes 3 interviews and a practical task where you'll get to demonstrate your skills and get a preview of the work. You'll meet different people from the team and get a sense of what the day-to-day and culture here looks like.
