The Lille-based Comprehensive Cancer Centre and a member of Unicancer becomes the first in France to use Gosta's AI Operating System for specialty care.
Centre Oscar Lambret, the Comprehensive Cancer Centre serving the Hauts-de-France region and its 6 million inhabitants, has chosen Gosta as its AI partner in cancer care. The decision followed a thorough evaluation process and a pilot in early 2026.
Founded in 1955, Centre Oscar Lambret is a national and international reference in cancer care and a member of Unicancer, the group bringing together France's 18 Comprehensive Cancer Centres. The centre treats around 24,000 patients each year and runs nearly 200 clinical trials, with a team of almost 1,000 professionals, 600 of them doctors, nursing staff and researchers.
During the oncology consultations, Gosta supports professionals by producing a structured, context-aware documentation in real time and capturing clinical parameters relevant to cancer care, such as CTCAE grading for adverse effects. Through integration with the centre’s electronic health record via FHIR platform, Gosta fits directly into existing clinical workflows. The aim is to reduce the administrative burden, strengthen coordination across the care team, and help to make more informed decisions.

Implementation started in July with integration into the centre’s electronic medical record, and will expand across the centre in phases. Centre Oscar Lambret is the first of France’s 18 comprehensive Cancer Centres to adopt Gosta. The deployment also marks the largest rollout of AI in cancer care in France to date.
