Gosta Labs expands its operations to France to advance AI in cancer care

Paris – February 19, 2026 - Gosta Labs, a Finnish healthtech company building an AI Operating System for complex medical specialties has established a French subsidiary (Société par Actions Simplifiée, SAS) as part of its continued European expansion. The move follows Gosta Labs' €7.5 million oversubscribed seed round and growing international adoption of its AI Operating System.

Expanding to a leading AI and oncology market

France has established itself as a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) through its national strategy launched in 2018 and more than €2.5 billion in investments in AI research and infrastructure. In oncology, it is among Europe's most advanced markets, with a strong national cancer strategy in place and internationally recognized cancer centres.

Nevertheless, despite its strong position, clinicians in France face the same growing challenges as their colleagues in other countries. Cancer care is becoming increasingly complex. By 2050, more than 35 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed worldwide across over 100 cancer types[1][2]. Clinicians must make high-stakes decisions quickly while working across fragmented systems and large volumes of unstructured clinical data, as well as dealing with expanding administrative demands and a growing number of personalized treatment options.

Gosta Labs’ oncology-focused AI Operating System is designed to support clinicians in this environment. The platform structures and summarizes patient information in real time and assists with clinical documentation, helping transform complex data into clear, actionable insights while reducing administrative burden.

The French subsidiary will be led by Dr. Lionel Hadjadjeba, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Gosta Labs. A French national with extensive experience in oncology and healthcare leadership, he will oversee partnerships with hospitals, cancer centers, and healthcare institutions across the country.

“While my role at Gosta Labs is global, I made a deliberate decision to focus on developing our business in France. The country has a strong oncology ecosystem and a clear commitment to innovation in cancer care. Our ambition is to work closely with French clinicians to deploy AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into daily practice and provide meaningful support in complex clinical work,” said Dr. Lionel Hadjadjeba.

Reinforcing European growth

Through its French subsidiary, Gosta Labs will comply with French regulatory and data protection requirements while integrating its system into local clinical workflows.

The establishment of Gosta Labs France is an important milestone for the company's growth in Europe and strengthens its commitment to responsible, clinically validated AI innovation in cancer care.
