Gosta Labs, the developer of AI assistant for healthcare, has raised €1.2 million in pre-seed funding. Participants in the funding round included Cor Group, one of the largest healthcare and social care service providers in Finland, as well as prominent experienced health sector angel investors.
Gosta Labs has developed a solution for ambient clinical documentation. The software, built on large language models, listens in the background during a healthcare appointment and automatically creates a draft of the clinical note for the doctor, thus saving healthcare professionals' time and supporting more meaningful patient interactions. The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County has already implemented Gosta Labs’ solution in its first health center. Gosta Labs was founded by Henri Viertolahti and Lauri Sippola, whose previous health technology company, Kaiku Health, was acquired by the Swedish publicly listed medtech giant Elekta in 2020.
